Basic rules
Do
Show a marker, series name, value and unit, using the same colors as the chart legend.
Provide a table or equivalent description so touch and keyboard users can access the same values.
Don't
Do not identify a series only through dot color or make a tooltip the only way to read exact values.
Do not clip tooltips outside the viewport or let them interfere with pointer movement.
